RIM has another holiday gift for us. They already let us know that App World v3.1 will be available on December 15th but now they have the 3.1 version in the Beta Zone for you to try. The new version includes some interesting features like
Requesting a Gift – No more ugly sweaters from Aunt Ethel and Uncle Norm – now you can request they purchase the latest and greatest applications available from App World. Content Rating and Filtering – New rating abilities allow content providers to indicate the maturity level of their content and let users filter results based on their desired maturity level. WiFi Only Support – No network connection in mall? No worries. App World will now allow users access when using a WiFi only connection. New Language Support – App World 3.1 now supports simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Dutch.You can join the App World 3.1 Beta Program today and check it out for yourself!
